Herbal Tea Please
I love my
herbal teas; 4 of my favourite teas being green tea, lemon tea, chamomile tea
and mint tea. However, I am a lover of all herbal teas and I use them in my
everyday life to help sooth my moods and relax, to wake me up, to energise my
mind and to detoxify my body and spirit. Herbal teas are a wonderful asset to
add to your life. Locally in Wollongong there is a great shop which stocks a
wonderful variety of herbal teas called ‘Tease me’. I enjoy visiting this shop
and selecting the teas that suit my life where it stands.
That’s the wonderful
thing about herbal teas. There is a tea to suit every mood chamomile for
calming, lemon tea for detoxing, mint tea for aiding digestion and calming your stomach and green tea for weightloss and potentially minimising the risk of disease.
Following is
a great herbal tea recipe I use to help get my body and digestive
system ready for the day ahead -
Lemon Tea
I find one
of the best ways to wake myself up in the morning and start the day feeling
energised, is with a glass of warm lemon tea sprinkled with a bit of cayenne
pepper and ground cinnamon. Fresh lemon is a great fruit used for detoxing the
body and kick starting your digestive system. The cayenne pepper works towards
speeding up your metabolism and the cinnamon works towards stabilising your
blood sugars.
