Boosting Super Smoothie
Since posting my Immunity
Boosting Super Smoothie I have had quite a few requests for the official
recipe. Now that winter is upon us it’s easy to forget to keep our nutrients up
and as a result we can start to feel a bit rundown.
Try this smoothie to help keep your vitamin C
up and your immunity strong.
Ingredients
·
2 x mandarins or
oranges (peeled)
·
1 whole lemon
(peeled)
·
I large handful
of baby spinach leaves
·
A few sprigs of
fresh mint
·
¼ tsp of ginger
·
¼ to ½ tsp turmeric
·
1 cup of water
Method
·
Add water and mandarins
(oranges or both) to the blender and blend
·
Next add the baby
spinach, lemon and mint and blend.
·
Lastly chuck in
the ginger and turmeric and blend until mixed through...... drink and
enjoy!!!!!!
Note: As the
lemon, ginger and turmeric can add quite intense flavours to your smoothie;
feel free to adjust these amounts to suit your taste buds.....
